The Power of Baking Soda
Baking soda, which is a common cooking ingredient, is most often used to deodorize fridges. Occasionally it is used as a deodorant, but generally many people do not know that they can use baking soda to clean their house. Baking soda, which is also known as Sodium Bicarbonate, is a naturally occurring mineral in nature. It is also one of the best cleaners you can have in your home.
With baking soda you can throw away your other cleaning products. Baking soda is an all-in-one cleaner that everyone should have in their homes. It is safe to use, non-toxic and it is not bad for the environment.
Try some of these tips:
- If your pet leaves a stain on the carpet, you can sprinkle baking soda on it. Baking soda will soak up the stain and the liquid and then you just vacuum it away. Another great thing about baking soda is that it takes away the odors so you do not have to worry about your pet peeing there again.
- If you need to clear the air in a room, you can take some baking soda in a bowl and let it sit. The baking soda will collect the odor and keep it in the baking soda powder, allowing you to have fresh smelling air.
- One of the neatest things about baking soda is how it works with vinegar. If you have a clogged drain, just pour some baking soda down it. Then, take some vinegar and pour it on the baking soda. This will cause a chemical reaction that will make the baking soda and vinegar bubble and rise up, and then back down the drain. This cool reaction is also a great way to deal with clogged drains.
When you need to clean your bathroom, floors or counters, just sprinkle some baking soda down, get a damp cloth and clean everything. Baking soda is one of the best cleaners that you can have in your home.
